Ice skating is a fun Winter rite of passage. Most towns have a local rink, and they tend to have public skating hours on the weekends. If you are really lucky, you have somewhere in town you can skate outside. My husband will tell you the ice is crowded and horrible, but isn’t that part of the fun? Take your camera – someone usually has a funny fall.
