Gingerbread House

If you let your sense of perfection fly out the door, it is a lot of fun to make a Gingerbread House with your child. We made one at Halloween. It looked horrible, but my daughter loved every second of it. I have found the easiest thing to do is buy a pre-made kit. Wilton’s is the best. Royal icing is a bit difficult to work with. Keep warm paper towels or cloths over the tips of your icing bags. Once you put the house together, use soup cans to support the walls while they are drying. Do you have any other great tips?
